We are lucky to live on such a scenic farm where, weather and farm work permitting, it is a delight to walk and enjoy the nature that surrounds us on this beautiful corner of Co. Laois.
For a nominal fee we are happy to give you a map so you may also enjoy a walk around the working farm and see what we do here with different animals and crops. Walk through park land dotted with old mature trees, along tree lined avenues beside the River Nore. Look out from Coon Hill over the whole farm and many other farms as well. See our cattle, sheep, pigs and hens along with a wide diversity of wild animals such as rabbits, pheasants and even the occasional shy red squirrel.
There are many different birds including swans and ducks on the river and, if you’re lucky, hawks and buzzards.
